Mission Statement

The wireless communication revolution is bringing fundamental changes to telecommunications and computing. Wide-area cellular systems and wireless LANs promise to make integrated networks a reality and provide fully distributed and ubiquitous mobile computing and communications, thus bringing an end to the tyranny of geography. Furthermore, services for mobile users are maturing and are poised to change the nature and scope of communication. This newsletter has been established to serve as the premier forum for addressing networks, systems, algorithms and applications that support the symbiosis of portable computers and wireless networks. MC2R is a peer-reviewed quarterly ACM publication which has been established to help keep the mobile computing and networking community abreast of all the happenings in this rapidly exploding field. ACM MC2R will carry high-quality academic and industrial research contributions on the design of new generations of personal, mobile and ubiquitous information and communications technologies.

We are listed in the IEE INSPEC abstract database.

INSPEC is the premier abstract database for scientific and technical journals, and conference proceedings in physics, computing, engineering and information technology. It contains almost 6 million references cataloged since 1969 and is updated weekly.
