Technical papers describing previously unpublished, original
research that is not currently under review by another conference,
journal, and/or workshop are solicited on the following topics:

- Synchronization of multimedia wireless services
- Data and header compression techniques
- Mobility management & fast handover techniques
- QoS Routing in ad hoc multihop wireless networks
- WWW multimedia browsing
- Multimedia location services
- Multimedia sensor networks
- Mobile Multimedia Devices
- Telemetry Services and broadcast data
- Mobile Agents
All papers will be refereed by the program committee. Accepted papers
will be published in the conference proceedings. Papers of particular merit
will be selected for publication in the
ACM Mobile Computing and
Communications Review.
Panel Solicitation
A panel is solicited that examines innovative, controversial, or otherwise
provocative issues of interest. Panel proposals should not exceed 3 pages,
including biographical sketches of the panelists. Potential panel organizers
should contact the Program Chairs: Victor
Bahl (bahl@microsoft.com) or Adam
Wolisz (wolisz@ee.tu-berlin.de.
Student Participation
Papers with a student as a primary author will be considered for a
cash award of US$200 and a certificate for the best student paper
competition. Student authors should clearly indicate with their
submission that they would like to be considered for this award.
