MobiCom 2003 will take place at the Westin Horton Plaza Hotel. Adjacent to the renowned Horton Plaza Shopping and Entertainment Complex, the Westin Horton Plaza is in the heart of downtown San Diego, with easy access to all of San Diego's major tourist and cultural attractions. The hotel is located next to the famous Gaslamp Quarter, Southern California's premier dining, shopping, and entertainment district, and is within easy walking distance of Seaport Village, San Diego's landmark waterfront shopping and dining area.
A block of rooms has been arranged at the Westin Horton Plaza Hotel at discounted rates for MobiCom 2003 attendees. The conference rate for either a single or double room is $149.00, and the rate for each additional person in a room is $20.00. These rates are exclusive of applicable state and local taxes. The U.S. Grant is located one block from the Westin Horton Plaza, at 326 Broadway, San Diego, California 92101. Driving directions to the U.S. Grant are provided by the hotel.
The conference rate at the U.S. Grant is the same as at the Westin Horton Plaza: for either a single or double room, the rate is $149.00, and the rate for each additional person in a room is $20.00. These rates are exclusive of applicable state and local taxes. Traveling to San Diego
San Diego is easily reached by air through San Diego International Airport (SAN). San Diego is served by many domestic and international airlines, with flights from cities around the world. San Diego is also easily reached from other nearby major airports, including Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO).
Many options for ground transportation from the airport are available, including taxis, shuttle services, or rental cars.
Getting around within San Diego is easy. The hotel is located directly on the San Diego Trolley line. Often called San Diego's "moving landmark," the Trolley is also a fun way to get around.
