COVID Updates

Update 5: Dear authors of full conference papers, please follow the instructions we have provided to complete release forms and upload your videos. To all prospective attendees: registration is open and the conference program is up on the website. We will be releasing the Whova app for MobiSys 2020 attendees shortly. You can use this to engage with authors and other attendees even before the conference begins. Stay tuned!

Dear MobiSys/SIGMOBILE community members: we wanted to give you a short update that we are in full-swing with prepping for an excellent virtual MobiSys 2020. Some details: we are planning to hold the virtual event in the timezone of Toronto, and will utilize various software tools to make the event as engaging as possible. Please stay tuned for details on the various virtual event tools, program details and registration information. Wishing everyone good health from Toronto.

Dear MobiSys Community, after discussion with the MobiSys Steering Committee and SIGMOBILE leadership, the decision has been made to change the format of MobiSys 2020. Due to safety concerns as well as statutory restrictions preventing travel and gatherings, we will not hold an in-person, physical conference this year. Rather, we will hold MobiSys 2020 as a virtual conference. The exact format is being finalized and we will post details on this website in the coming days. We want to send our best wishes to all our colleagues along the globe, and hope you keep healthy and safe.

Dear MobiSys community, there are currently significant statutory lockdowns/travel restrictions in-place in many parts of the world, including Ontario, Canada. It is unclear when the situation will return back to normal. We are closely monitoring the situation, and take everyone's health and safety very seriously. Please do not make any non-refundable travel plans to attend the conference. We are looking at various options and provide an update on MobiSys 2020 in the coming weeks. We wish everyone the best of health and good wishes from Canada!
