Submission Instructions

All submissions must follow strictly the format and size constraints indicated below. Your goal as an author is to produce a clearly readable submission within these constraints. Please refrain from exceeding these limits, because longer submissions and/or papers with modified margins or fonts will not be reviewed.

Before the submission, you are expected to make sure that your paper complies with the format requirements (number of pages, font size and spacing, margins). The submission site will make a small number of checks and reject all papers that do not meet some of the specifications. However, we will additionally re-check and possibly reject those with evident format violations. Once submitted, no paper will be rejected due to format violations without being hand checked first.

Anonymity Specifications

MobiSys submissions are anonymous. As an author, you are required to make a good-faith effort to preserve the anonymity of your submission, while at the same time allowing the reader to fully grasp the context of related past work, including your own. Common sense and careful writing will go a long way towards preserving anonymity. Minimally, please take the following steps when preparing your submission:

Submission Specifications

Submissions will be judged on originality, significance, interest, clarity, relevance, and technical correctness. Papers may be conditionally accepted and shepherded by a member of the program committee, with final acceptance determined by consent of the shepherd.

As part of the submission process, authors of papers that describe experiments on human subjects, or that analyze nonpublic data derived from human subjects (even anonymized data), will be asked to certify that their work was vetted by an ethics review (e.g., IRB approval). We expect authors to follow the rules of their host institutions around data collection and experiments with human subjects.
