SIG Announcements:

- Registration is now open for MobiSys 2007 to be held in San Juan,
 Puerto Rico, June 11-14, 2007.

 There is an outstanding technical program of 22 papers selected by a TPC
 chaired by Gaetano Borriello and Ramon Caceres.

- While no SIGMOBILE member became an ACM Fellow in 2006, we would like to
take this opportunity to (once again) celebrate the achievements of and
congratulate all our current SIGMOBILE members who are ACM Fellows:

 For seminal contributions to object-oriented programming languages and

 For fundamental contributions to the development of algorithms and
 communication protocols, and technical leadership in mobile networking.

 For contributions to Parallel Processing Architecture, Interconnection
 Networks, Parallelism Detection & Scheduling.

 James C Browne                               1998
 For leadership in research and graduate education in computer science across
 a spectrum of subdisciplines and for innovation in technology transfer both
 to industry and to other disciplines of science and engineering.

 Simon S Lam                                  1998
 Fundamental research contributions to the design, analysis, and understanding
 of computer network architectures and protocols.

 Leonidas J Guibas                            1999
 For his work on geometric data structures, arrangements of surfaces and their
 applications, geometric algorithms in computer graphics, and algorithmic
 issues in computer vision.

 Alan J Smith                                 2001
 For his highly cited paper on cache memories, for his contributions to
 performance measurement, and for his leadership in professional society

 For contributions to computer systems research in distributed and mobile
