Invitation to Student Volunteer Program
Application deadline: May 9, 2004
Students volunteers are going to play an important role in enriching MobiSys 2004 enthusiasm and success.
As an integral part of MobiSys, student volunteers support the various programs and events hosted at the conference. Student Volunteers may serve in several support roles at the conference, ranging from audio/visual systems to interpreters and crowd control. Student volunteers are often the first responders to attendee questions, providing valuable information and direction that enhance the conference experience.
As they provide essential support to the conference, students also have an opportunity to gain insight and knowledge of the mobile systems and applications' state of the art. Other benefits include opportunities to meet and collaborate with leading researchers, industry professionals, fellow students, and a strong sense of accomplishment. Of course, registration to the conference is free for students volunteers.
To apply for the conference volunteering, please send a message to
mobisys_volunteers@acm.org
including your name, school, year, a reliable email address, and phone number.
Inquiries for volunteering will be accepted through May
9, 2004. Student volunteers will be selected and announced on May 14th
with preference given to students who have papers accepted to the
conference or one of the associated workshops.
