The PhD forum is an excellent oportunity for PhD students to present key concepts, ideas and progress of their work within a friendly and supportive environment. In addition to providing feedback and advice, this forum will also provide an opportunity for students to network and to practice presenting their research clearly and concisely.
The PhD Forum is a one-day event consisting of conscised student presentations, feedback, and roundtable discussion. Each participant had allotted time for demonstrating their work in a short presentation followed by an in-depth discussion led by the panel consisting of advanced PhD peers as well as established researchers of the SIGMOBILE community. The number of participants is limited to around 10 to allow adequate time for each presentation and discussion.
The event will conclude with a roundtable discussion, in which panelists will have another opportunity to provide general suggestions and share their own research experience and advice to the entire group.
We will try and offer remote video presentation options for authors who are unable to attend due to visa issues.
