MobiCom 2016 is proud to host the first edition of ACM SIGMOBILE Student Career Evening (MobiJob). This event seeks to bring together top companies in the field with the best and brightest students and post-docs from the ACM SIGMOBILE community. MobiJob aims to assist with both open full-time positions, and as well as fixed-duration internships. For 2016, MobiJob will be organized as speed-dating event co-located with the MobiCom conference in New York City.
Event Timing: Tuesday October 4th -- 7:40pm until 9.30pm
Event Location: Private room of the
Heartland Brewery at the Empire State Building. Located on the corner of 34th and 5th Avenue, this venue is accessible by subways either at Penn Station or Herald Square. Upon arrival attendees should check in with the host at the door who will take them to the private room on the lower level.
Interested students and post-docs are directed to express their interest at the point of MobiCom conference registration. Due to space limitations student attendance might be restricted, and in this event attendance will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Participants must bring copies of their CV that in particular specifies if they are interested in either full-time or internship positions.

Companies wishing to participate in MobiJob are requested to register by contacting the event chairs (Giovanni Pau and Nic Lane, contact information below). Sponsors of MobiCom 2016 are warmly invited to participate, and can do so at no additional cost. Other companies are also welcome but will need to pay an event registration fee. All companies will be provided a 5-minute opportunity to introduce themselves to students and post-docs at the event (limit of 2 slides). Company representatives also are able to mingle with students/post-docs during the event, and engage with them during the speed-dating rounds.
