Mr. Ravi Shankar Prasad is the Union Cabinet Minister for Law and Justice & Information Technology in the Government of India, headed by Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. He is an eminent Lawyer and a Senior Advocate in the Supreme Court of India. He is a Member of Parliament since the year 2000 and has been the member of important Parliamentary Committees in the Parliament like Finance, Communication & IT, Petroleum & Chemicals.
Since his appointment as the Cabinet Minister for Communications and Information Technology on 26th May, 2014, he has been spearheading the task of reviving India’s telecom sector. He is also actively leading the task of developing India into a global electronics manufacturing hub. India is sitting at the cusp of a Digital Revolution. It is a priority agenda for present government and as the Minister for Communications & IT, he is at the forefront of its implementation. The flagship program of Digital India, which aims to bring about good governance by extensive use of Information Technology, is being implemented under his leadership. He is also spearheading reforms in the Indian legal and judicial system.
Ravi Shankar Prasad is a very senior leader of the ruling Bhartiya Janta Party ( BJP ) and held very crucial organizational positions of the party at the national level, including national general secretary, chief spokesperson of the party and head of the Media division. He frequently appears on national and international media. As a Cabinet Minister, he is also Spokesperson of the Government. He is a widely travelled man and represented India in various International Conferences and UN.
Ajay Prakash Sawhney
Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India
Mr. Ajay Prakash Sawhney is the Secretary of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. Mr. Sawhney is a Mechanical Engineer and an IAS Officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre (1984 batch). He has handled various assignments in the State of Andhra Pradesh, covering land administration, law and order and quasi-judicial functions, rural development, health & family welfare, communication & information technology, e-governance and elections etc.
He played a lead role in the Total Literacy Campaign taken up in Nizamabad district in the early nineties. He has also catalysed the establishment of the International Institute of Information Technology in Hyderabad and its emergence as one of the premier institutions in computer science education and research in the country. He has spent more than ten years in assignments relating to information technology and e-governance and has led the formulation of innovative policies and implementation of several major e-governance, communications and broadband projects. He has also worked as the Principal Secretary to Chief Minister of AP after the reorganization of the State of Andhra Pradesh.
He has also held important positions in the Govt. of India as Joint Secretary Training in the Department of Personnel and Training and as the President and CEO of the National e-Governance Division, which assists the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology in the implementation of the National e-Governance Plan.

Mr. Mukesh D. Ambani is the Chairman & Managing Director of Reliance Industries Limited. During his tenure of over 30+ years, Mr. Ambani has successfully led a diversified portfolio spanning across Energy (E&P, Petrochemicals, and Refining), Retail, Telecommunications/ Digital Services and Textiles to make Reliance India’s largest private sector enterprise.
Mr. Ambani is also associated with various organizations. He is a member of The World Economic Forum Foundation Board, Foreign member at United States National Academy of Engineers (NAE). Mr. Ambani is also a member of the Indo-US CEOs Forum, Chair of The British Asian Trust's India Advisory Council, International Advisory Council of The Brookings, McKinsey & Company International Advisory Council, Global Advisory Council of Bank of America, Business Council and London School of Economics' India Advisory Group. In India, Mr. Ambani is a member of the Prime Minister's Council on Trade & Industry and Board of Governors of the National Council of Applied Economic Research. He also serves as the Chairman of Board of Governors for Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University.
Mr. Ambani earned a B.E. from Institute of Chemical Technology (India) and pursued an M.B.A. from Stanford University.
N R Narayana Murthy
Dr. Nagavara Ramaroa Narayana Murthy, fondly called NRN or Narayana Murthy, the founder of Infosys Technologies is renowned as the Father of Indian IT Industry. Dr. Murthy pursued his engineering in National Institute of Engineering, Mysore and graduated from there in 1967, with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He acquired his masters from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in 1969. In 2012, Jawarharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad conferred its Doctor of Philosophy (Honoris Causa) degree to him.
From the year 1981- 2002, he was serving as the Infosys CEO. He played a pivotal role in channelizing the outsourcing IT industry bringing in the global Delivery model, which many other IT giants are currently putting into use. His clear vision and hard work have always paved way for Infosys to reach greater heights. With more than 80,000 employees and numerous successful and happy clients, Infosys is reigning in the IT market. From 2002-2011 he served as Chairman for Infosys and later after a small break he began to continue to be a mentor for Infosys.
Dr. Murthy has been enlisted in the top 12 greatest entrepreneurs by the Fortune Magazine. He was honored with the Padma Shri, India’s fourth highest civilian award, for his distinguished contribution to industry in 2000. In 2008, the Government of India bestowed upon him the Padma Vibhushan, the second highest civilian award of India, for his exceptional services to Informational Technology in India. In 2016 he was awarded the Philanthropist of the year in the Asian Awards.
