Camera-Ready Instructions

(A) Complete the ACM e-Rights agreement as soon as possible

Click the “Edit” tab on the upper left-hand portion of the HotCRP page of your paper, then you can access the ACM e-Rights form. Please complete it as soon as possible.

Note that ACM will use its automated system upon completion of the form to email you additional instructions for your camera-ready manuscript preparation. Please set your email spam settings to allow messages from rightsreview@acm.org.

ACM Open Access and APCs. Beginning January 1, 2026, ACM publications are Open Access. If the corresponding author’s institution participates in ACM Open, the paper will generally be published without an Article Processing Charge (APC). Otherwise, an APC may apply unless an ACM waiver or discount applies. For conferences held in 2026, ACM states subsidized APCs of $250 when the ACM/SIG member rate applies and $350 otherwise. Confirm the corresponding author, primary affiliation, and institutional email carefully in e-Rights. The ACM Open/APC process is separate from MobiHoc conference registration.

(B) Register for the conference

To be included in the ACM MobiHoc 2026 proceedings, each accepted main-conference, workshop, or poster/demo paper must be covered by an appropriate full (non-student) registration, with at least one author registering. One registration covers one accepted paper, except that a combined Conference + Workshop registration may cover one conference paper and one workshop paper by the same author. Poster/demo authors attending only that day may register at the one-day rate.

The author-registration deadline will be announced when the registration site opens. Authors must complete registration and receive confirmation from the Registration Chairs before uploading their camera-ready files. The camera-ready deadline remains September 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EDT (UTC-4).

After completing registration, please email both Registration Chairs, Takuro Yonezawa (takuro@nagoya-u.jp) and Bingqian Du (bqdu@hust.edu.cn), with the subject [ACM MobiHoc 2026 Registration]. Include the paper category or workshop name, paper ID, paper title, registered author’s full name, and registration confirmation number. The Registration Chairs will verify the registration and confirm when you may proceed with the camera-ready upload.

Change of registered author or presenter. If the registered author later becomes unable to attend, another coauthor may present the paper. Please contact the Registration Chairs promptly to request any required registration transfer or reassignment. Such a change is not automatic: the paper must remain covered by a full registration, every attending author must hold a valid registration, and any applicable fee difference must be resolved.

(C) Receive Shepherd’s approval (for main conference only)

If your paper requires Shepherding, please send a revision plan to the shepherd by August 30. After receiving the shepherd’s replies, please send the final version of the paper to the shepherd by September 13 for approval. Shepherds will approve by September 20 by posting a comment with just the word “Shepherding completed” in HotCRP for the papers they are handling. The camera-ready deadline is September 30.

(D) Prepare your camera-ready manuscript

Please follow these instructions when preparing your camera-ready manuscript.

1. Use the ACM templates from: https://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template.

   Modifications to the ACM templates are not allowed. The final PDF will be checked for consistency with these templates. Non-compliance may result in your publication being rejected.

   • If you are using LaTeX, please refer to the sample file sample-sigconf.tex after you download the .zip templates file and unzip it.
   • Note that the document class \documentclass[sigconf]{acmart} should be used.

2. The rights and permissions information, conference information, and bibliographic strip (your paper’s DOI and ACM MobiHoc’s ISBN) must appear on the lower left-hand portion of the first page, following the instructions you have received from ACM after filling out the e-Rights form via the ACM rights-management tool on the HotCRP page of the paper.

3. Choose the appropriate ACM Computing Classification categories and terms from the ACM Computing Classification System. Specifically, you need to assign the CCS concepts, click “Generate CCS Codes”, and copy the TeX code to your LaTeX for your camera-ready paper.

4. Page numbers should not appear in the camera-ready PDF.

5. The page limit for publications in the main conference is 10 pages, including figures, tables, and references.

6. Your PDF submission should have all fonts embedded. If you are unsure about how to check for this, see the ACM Word-to-PDF instructions.

(E) Upload your camera-ready manuscript

By September 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EDT (UTC-4), submit all the source files, ACM CCS concepts (the CCS XML codes that were generated, not the CCS TeX code), references, and the camera-ready PDF through the respective HotCRP website below:

• Conference papers: Please use the HotCRP submission website for the main conference to upload your camera-ready manuscript.
• Workshop papers: Please use your respective workshop’s HotCRP submission website to upload your camera-ready manuscript.
• Poster/demo papers: Please use the HotCRP submission website for the poster/demo track to upload your camera-ready manuscript.
