 Co- located Tutorials

To gauge the interest in having tutorials as part of future MobiCom conferences, we are pleased to offer two co-located tutorials this year. (These tutorial are independent from MobiCom. Support for the event is provided by the National Science Foundation.)

These tutorials will be held on the University of Utah campus on Sunday October 15th 2017, i.e., the day before MobiCom. These half-day tutorials will be hands-on, providing exposure to emerging wireless platforms and technologies.

The first tutorial will make use of PhantomNet [https://www.phantomnet.org], a platform to enable experimental research in mobile and wireless technologies. The second tutorial will introduce ParaDrop [https://www.paradrop.org], a new edge computing platform that allows experimenters to deploy edge services in a WiFi Access Point.

There is no cost to attend the tutorials and we will provide some support for housing. (Attendance is limited and offered on a first-register-first-serve basis.)
