Sites, Attractions, and Amenities

The Ritz Carlton San Juan is an exclusive resort six miles from Old San Juan. The hotel offers a 24 hour 1940's styled casino, five excellent restauraunts including the highly acclaimed BLT Steakhouse, and a luxuriant spa.

Should you decide to wander from the hotel, a number of exciting attractions are in close distance. The Metropol Restaurant, a short walk from the hotel, offers excellent service and great local food at reasonable prices. Walking tours of Old San Juan and El Morro, a centuries old Spanish fort, are a short ride away. The El Yunque Rainforest and Arecibo Observatory are about an hour's drive.

Welcoming Reception

Following the full day of workshops, a welcoming reception will be held at the hotel's private beach. Cocktails and hors douvres will be served to welcome all participants to the conference.

Conference Banquet

The conference banquet will be held on the evening of Wednesday, June 13 at the Old Harbor Brewery, Steak, and Lobster House. All conference attendees are invited to the banquet, and additional tickets may be purchased for guests during conference registration. Transportation will be provided by bus and the dinner will be preceeded by an hour long walk through historic old town.
