Register for Shuttle Service
We will do our best to provide shuttles from Oxenholme railway station to hotels during the daytime and early evening. We will also try to provide shuttles to the conference venue (Low Wood Bay hotel) in time for the first morning session each day. We will notify you of your nearest shuttle point and departure times closer to the time.
Turn your MobiSys attendance into a family trip!
The Lake District area offers great opportunities for you and any people that may accompany you, to enjoy the British countryside. The MobiSys facebook page will host tips and information about activities beyond the actual conference for anybody that may accompany you. Feel free to post questions at our Facebook page, and we will try to give you as much information as possible about your trip.
Travel Details
If you are travelling from outside the UK, the most suitable airport to use is Manchester. You can either drive to the conference venue, or use the train. There is a train line from Manchester Airport to the Lake District (the "Oxenholme, the Lake District" station) which is close to the conference venue. If you are flying in to a London airport (Gatwick or Heathrow) you can either travel by train or road. Taking the train from London would require you to first get to Euston station by using the London Underground.
