Student Mentorship Program
This is your chance to meet the person whose work you follow and discuss research with them! The mentorship meetups will run a week before the conference (from June 18 to 24). During the conference (June 24th to July 2nd) we will host other events for students.
Planned activities include
- warm up bootcamp with daily challenges on a slack channel
- 1-on-1 mentorship sessions, after a match making based on interest from mentors and mentees
There will be other opportunities for student engagement during the conference including
- A student mentorship workshop organised by the students
- GatherTown events for students to network, including a collaborative game
- Daily debriefing sessions to discuss your thoughts on the technical sessions
Student Conference Grant
Generous conference grants are available for students to cover the conference registration. Please use the same form above to indicate whether you’d like to be considered for this grant. Decisions will be announced a week after the application deadline. Student grant awardees will be provided with free registration codes.
Apart from the student conference grant, those who are eligible can also apply for the ACM MobiSys N2Women Fellowship. Please visit https://n2women.comsoc.org/fellowships/ for more details.
You need to register for ACM MobiSys to participate in the mentorship program. However, please do not register before hearing back about the student grant, because reimbursement will be harder.
