To promote sustainability at ACM MobiSys2024, we are implementing various initiatives throughout the event. Our conference is dedicated to being carbon-neutral, following the TOKYO MICE Sustainability Guidelines .
Key initiatives include:
- Utilization of Recycled and Recyclable Materials: We prioritize eco-friendly materials such as recycled paper for eco-bags, novelties, and name tags. This helps reduce waste and minimize our environmental impact.
- Sustainable Water Provision: We minimize single-use plastic by offering drinking water through sustainable methods like water servers. This promotes responsible water usage and reduces waste.
- Promotion of Digital Information: We encourage electronic platforms for information dissemination, reducing paper consumption, and supporting forest conservation efforts.
